The fabric used to make our Indigo Handloom set is expertly woven in a small village in West Bengal known for its Jamdani craft — a distinctive weaving technique in which motifs are intricately woven into the fabric itself. The result is a floaty, breathable cotton that drapes softly.
This is our lightest fabric, and it's worth noting that it can appear slightly sheer in bright light.
Cut in our classic silhouette, the shirt is loose yet flattering, with buttoned cuffs that can easily be rolled up for a more relaxed look. The wide-leg trousers have a fully elasticated waist, two side pockets, and two back pockets. Our classic set is designed to be worn together or separately, at home or out and about.
The yarns in this fabric have been dyed with natural indigo. To preserve the colour, we recommend washing separately in cold water and drying in the shade.
